Bryan Wallace, a Phoenix based artist, is best known for his subjective interpretation of everyday themes, as well as some darker subject matter of earlier work. Working mostly with oils or acrylic on canvas, as well as a variety of 3-dimensional media, Bryan often mixes strong, rough masculine subjects juxtaposed with softer, smoother images to create complexity and contrast. His professional work in horticulture and arboriculture also inspires organic images and concepts as a recurring theme throughout much of his art. Showing in Phoenix and Scottsdale through the nineties and early two thousands, Bryan has spent the last decade working, introspecting, and developing a more focused narrative of his ongoing body of work.
